Many people develop unhealthy eating habits and nutrient deficiencies due to the excessive consumption of processed and fried foods, particularly in communities that rely heavily on these diets. Offering a healthier vegetable-based alternative can encourage better dietary choices. Bitter Gourd fries are a nutritious option, rich in dietary fiber, vitamins A and C, and essential minerals like potassium and iron. To address this need, the proponents explored the feasibility of Bite & Delight, a company that would manufacture and sell bitter gourd fries. The study assessed five key aspects: technical, market, organizational and management, socio-economic, and financial. This proposed business aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production. With an initial investment of ₱171,196.50, the project generates a positive Net Present Value (NPV) of ₱2781,220.63, indicating that it creates significant value beyond its cost. The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is exceptionally high at 272.393%, far exceeding the 10% discount rate, which confirms the project's strong earning potential. The Profitability Index (PI) of 17.2457 means that every ₱1 invested returns ₱1.852 in present value, reflecting excellent profitability. Overall, the project demonstrates high profitability, fast payback, low risk, and strong financial performance, making it a very attractive investment.
